What data, for which purposes and on what legal basis do we process it?
- To establish a contact with you and / or answer your requests and / or conclude a contract
In case you use the website to contact us, we process your name and email, in order to answer any questions, you may have regarding our services. If you choose to register in our database as a translator, we process any personal data you may provide through the respective platform (name, email, phone number) only in order to assess the possibility to conclude a contract with you, based on the projects we are involved with. Once we enter into an agreement, we process the following personal data to issue and / or pay invoices for the respected services: name, last name, postal address, fiscal code, bank account number.
- Based on your consent
You can choose to subscribe to our GSI Newsletter via our website, using your email account. Should you do that, your consent can be withdrawn at any given moment, by canceling your subscription via a direct link in the newsletter itself, or by sending an email to datagdpr@clever-hamilton.194-164-121-13.plesk.page. We will then immediately delete your data from our newsletter mailing list.
- To safeguard our legitimate interests:
After undertaking a balance of interests, we may process your data beyond the extent necessary for the performance of the contract in order to safeguard our own or a third party’s legitimate interest. In the following cases, data processing takes place to safeguard legitimate interests:

Who receives your data?
The personal data we process may be accessed by any of the companies within our group (GSI), but will not be transferred outside the United Kingdom or the European Union. We are implementing all the appropriate or suitable safeguards and the means to assure the processing is done according to the provisions of the data protection regulations. We will not share your information with any third parties for the purposes of direct marketing, nor we will use it for profiling purposes.
In some circumstances we are legally obliged to share information. For example, under a court order or where we cooperate with any European public institution / authority. In any scenario, we’ll satisfy ourselves that we have a lawful basis on which to share the information and document our decision making and satisfy ourselves we have a legal basis on which to share the information.
We may also share your information in the event of the non-payment that is due based on the agreement we conclude. We use data processors who are third parties who provide elements of services for us. We have contracts in place with our data processors. How long will your data be stored?
- The data used to contact us via our website, as well as the data obtained within the recruitment process, will be stored for up to 1 year once we have processed your inquiry, or we have received your latest message, unless otherwise established by the law.
- The data used to subscribe to our newsletter, will be stored until you revoke your permission for storage. You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter subscription directly via a link provided in each newsletter.
- The data processed for the execution of a contractual agreement, will be stored for up to three years after the termination of our contractual relationship.What are your data protection rights?

Use of social sharing
We do not use plugins for the respective social media services for social sharing functionalities. Instead, we merely set a text or graphics link. These do not transmit any data, such as your IP address, browser used, screen resolution, websites viewed, date and time, to the respective social media services.
